dissimilar Kinds Of Golf Clubs

A golf club is made up of three detach components namely the grip, shaft, and head. A regular type of golf club set is typically composed of three woods namely the #3, driver, and the #5 fairway woods; eight irons specifically the #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #9, and the Pw; and a putter. All in all, there are 12 clubs. Based on the guidelines in golf, each player can carry 14 golf clubs inside his bag. Because of this, a lot of golfers are adding a specialty wood or another iron in their arsenal.

Golf Club Left Handed Sets

The dissimilar types of clubs that a golf player may select to use while games comprise drivers and fairway woods; hybrids; irons; wedges; and putters. Drivers and fairway woods are typically used for long shots. If you are seeing at hitting a hole that is par four or five from the tee to the green, it would be a good option to use a wood. The driver, which is also referred to as the 1 wood, has the lowest loft of all clubs. Loft refers to the angle of the golf club face, which is used in controlling the trajectory and affecting the distance. A driver is made with a loft that ranges from 7 to 12 degrees. Most of golfers favor using drivers that are made with less than 10 degrees of loft however; using these will need more skill. A lot of golfers today are carrying #3 and #5 fairway woods as part of their bags. The first one is made with a 15 degree loft while the latter is qualified with a 18 degree loft. The higher the whole of a club, the higher its loft is.

Hybrids on the other hand are a up-to-date development. These clubs are made with a mixture of wood and iron. These are becoming more and more favorite because they are easier to hit with as compared to iron clubs. In addition to this, hybrid clubs are also very versatile, which means that they can be used for roughly any type of situation. Hybrids are made with four types of lofts namely 16 or #2, 19 or #3, 22 or #4, and #5 or 25.

Irons are often used for short distances. They give more control as compared to fairway woods and drivers. The nearer you are to the green, the higher the iron whole you should use. Next are wedges. These are specialty iron clubs. These comprise the Pw or pitching wedge, lob wedges, and sand wedges. Last would be putters. These golf clubs are used in bringing the ball to right to the hole.

Left-Handed Golf study

The world's people may be 10 to 15% lefties, but there are not many left-handed golfers. The main calculate is that most of them prefer to stick to right-handed golf. In addition, it used to be quite difficult to come across left-handed education manuals and left-handed golf clubs.

Golf Club Left Handed Sets

But that is a thing of the past now, since more and more golf education manuals are being targeted to lefties. The top coach Steve Anderson has authored the book 'On the Other Hand', which is meant for left-handed golfers. Bob Charles is one of the best left-handed golfers in the world and he has put together an education video, the only one of its kind, to give insight on how he achieved success as a lefty golfer. The game of golf also lays stress on playing it more with your eyes than your hands.

Some predominant lefthanders are quite ambidextrous this way, using their left hand only for the game and their right for everything else. Experts say that it is required to look at the ball first and visualize it going away from your body. That will show you which side of the ball to take. The world has seen very few top left-handed golfers.

But these instructional tutorials might prove helpful to hone talent. They give you clear and comprehensible instructions on how to play your game the left-handed way. You get more insight on your full swings, putting and even game management. Mike Weir and Phil Mickelson are the two names that appear together with Bob Charles as the world's top three left-handed golfers.

Left-handed equipment might also be difficult to come across, but there are some sites which offer a wealth of it. Golf Smith and The Golf storage are two international sites that stock a wide range of these products. Edwin Watts of U.S.A. And Online Golf in Europe have also been serving a long line of such web customers.

What Causes a Golf Slice and How to Cure It

The slice is the most base fault in golf and in this article I plan to discover what causes a golf slice and how to cure it.

Golf Club Left Handed Sets

The slice is an uncontrolled shot that causes the ball to curve off to the right of the ball-to-target line, causing a loss of both direction and distance.

Most slices are the succeed of an unintentional out-to-in swing path, though other faults may also yield slicing. Anything the swing path, the clubface all the time moves over the ball from far right to near left (right handed players). This causes the ball to spin in a clockwise direction, which moves the ball from left to right as it flies through the air.

Faults that lead to a slice occur at either the address position or while the swing itself.

Possible Causes while Set-up.

Bad Grip.

A club that is held too tightly creates tension in the arms and can cause the player to have an out-to-in swing. Try to relax your grip by imagining you are holding a minuscule bird. You don't want to squeeze it to death but at the same time you don't want it to escape.

Having a "weak grip". A weak grip tends to cause an open clubface at address. If this is your question try turning both hands clockwise on the club.

Alignment.

May be open, which promotes slicing, or closed, which promotes an over the top swing. Align your feet and shoulders so that they are parallel to the ball to target line.

Ball Position.

Do not place the ball too far forward, this is a base fault which causes the shoulders to open and promotes an outside-to-in swing path.

Move the ball back in your stance, but still transmit of center, so that when you set the club down your shoulders are parallel with the ball-to-target line.

Clubface angle.

An open clubface at address will cause the ball to slice. Ensure that your clubface is aligned quadrilateral to the ball-to target line.

Possible Cause while The Swing.

Poor weight transfer.

If you are not transferring your weight from your back foot to the front (target) your clubface will be open through impact.

Use the predominant Gary Player "down the fairway" drill, where you play your shot and take a step transmit on your succeed through and walk after the ball.

Another drill is the stepping drill whereby you grossly exaggerate your weight transfer by lifting your front leg on the backswing, shifting all your weight on to the back foot and then stepping on the front foot and lifting the back foot on the downswing and succeed through. Try it, it works.

Also very efficient is to swing with your eyes close and couple on the weight shift. Do not worry about the ball when using this drill.

Club follows an out-to-in path (points to left of target at top of back swing).

With your club in this position you will have an out-to-in swing path.

Use the following drill to cure this. Address the ball as normal and then raise the club about 18 inches above the ball so it is hovering directly above it. Make a backswing that is not pulled speedily inside. Note the angle of the plane going back. Now make a transmit swing in which the plane is under or shallower than the backswing plane. A "back - under, back - under" routine. Lower the club to the ball and repeat.

Upper body tension.

This is probably caused by gripping the club too tight. See above for holding a bird. Also relax the tension in the arms.

I trust that this article has helped you understand what causes a golf slice and how to cure it. It won't happen overnight but if you practice the above drills you will soon find yourself playing golf without slicing.

Having a Natural Golf Grip

When it comes to astonishing a golf ball, a allowable grip is indispensable to see to it that the precise attack is achieved. This can supremely be enhanced if both hands work in tandem with one other in looking to this course. Apart from both hands, being in sync with one other there also has to be the right amount of pressure that has to be applied when gripping the golf club. This is so because when it comes to gripping the club too tightly then the shots achieved here can be either weak or even thin at that. This has led to looking for a more natural way of gripping a club when in look of a perfect hit.

Golf Club Left Handed Sets

Looking to attack a good shot requires one to have a natural golf grip. By doing this one's wrist, hinge get to be more enhanced thus ensuring more power is put into astonishing the ball. Clubface rotation also gets to be increased here, which as a follow makes it more inherent to quadrate the club when impact is achieved. allowable placement of the hand with the help of the light grip makes it inherent to accomplish a longer and strait shot easily. However, to accomplish this, obvious steps have to be followed. Before taking a swing, it is leading to first feel the golf club before having to wear the gloves. By keeping the club with your hands open, make sure you get the golf club deal with to extend from just below the small finger up to the middle crease that is found on the index finger.

Now the player can put on the gloves whereby he can now try out his or her left grip. In this process, one can place the club the same way it was previously done without the gloves on. One can then apply pressure with his or her last three fingers all of which are on the left hand. To know if this is done well no pressure should be felt on the palm. Now as one positions their right hand the deal with has to rest across the base of the right small finger up to the top crease of the index finger just as was the case before. After doing this the right palm get to be set to the side also in the process on top of the golf club. The index finger here gets to wrap around the handle.

Now ultimately with the natural golf grip, the club now can be hold at waist height with the position already established. It is leading to know that the position dictates how the ball gets to be played and this being the case, a good position needs to be taken. Having known this the V's that get to be formed by the index finger and thumbs from both hands should now point to the right side of the golfers face. Having established these straightforward steps when it comes to attaining the natural golf grip one can now be said to be set to take a swing with the golf club.

Golf Setup -- Ball Position

I have a great tip for you that's going to end all the doubt you had in your mind about golf setup and where the golf ball goes in your stance. It's called ball position.

Golf Club Left Handed Sets

A lot of amateurs, unfortunately, address the golf ball, what I call, backwards. They come in and they put their feet down and try to aim where they're going, either down the fairway or towards the pin, and then they just stand to the golf club that they're keeping onto. Sometimes their golf setup is too far back and sometimes it's too far forward.

Other amateurs do this. They like to play all of their shots off their front foot. Some like to play all their shots off the middle of their stance. But let me tell you something, and I think this is beyond doubt going to help you.

This weekend if you're sitting colse to watching Tv, watch the tour players and watch how they come up and they grip the golf club first, they take a look at where they're going, and then they stand to the golf club that they're using.

For instance, put the butt of the pitching wedge across from your belt buckle, and stand to the golf club with the face quadrilateral and your shoulders going where you want them to go.

What that does is put the golf ball in the middle of your stance for your pitching wedge. Now, keep that stance with your 7 iron.

Now, the 7 iron is three inches longer than the pitching wedge. If you just stand there and grip it with your shoulders square, look how the golf ball is just beginning to move send in your stance over towards your left heel, and it's about three inches apart.

Now, pick up your long iron and do the same thing. Keep your shoulders square, don't move your stance, and grip the golf club. And all of a sudden, the long iron starts to move even supplementary forward.

Lastly, watch this. During golf setup, when you hold your driver in your hand. If you just put the butt of the club across your belt buckle, put the club on the ground the way it was built in the facility and stand across from it with your shoulders square, that puts the golf ball across from your left foot.

It's not complicated, but remember this: During golf setup, stand to the handle of the golf club. Don't address the golf ball first, but address the golf club to the ball and then take your stance.

Golf Swing release acquire Your distance

The golf swing publish can be described as the releasing of power in the down swing at the right occasion to get the best potential result. This power is stored in the back swing through the literal, hinging of the right wrist. Let us take a look at how you can enhance your publish and achieve more accuracy and distance.

Golf Club Left Handed Sets

It all starts with your grip pressure. Most golfers grip incorrectly with their left hand too much in the palm of the hand. This troops you to hold the club tighter than needed and tension spreads to your arms. It now becomes very difficult to let the right wrist hinge simply on the back swing and originate power through the ball.

The feeling that is being created here is locking the wrists on the back swing. Subconsciously you want to be in control of the club and unfortunately you end up restricting the most prominent move to power and consistency. publish means to "let go," not of the golf club, but of the stored power you have created in the back swing.

I am a firm believer in a natural or passive publish of the club through the ball. If you do obvious things correctly then you will not have to "think" of how and when to publish the power. It will happen automatically at the right time.

The best place to start working on achieving a natural publish is to have your left hand grip retention the club across the base of the fingers, with a feeling of pressure on the last three fingers. You will survey that not much pressure is nothing else but needed to hold the club and feel control. The feeling of pressure in the right hand is on the middle two fingers only. The role of the pressure in these middle two fingers is to simply hold the left thumb and unite the hands in order that they can work as one.

The literal, grip pressure now gives you greater feel for the club head when it is set in motion, allowing the right wrist to hinge back on itself automatically in the back swing. Please understand that there is no need to consciously cock the wrists, as this will throw the club off the natural swing path you started it on.

When you left arm is about parallel to the ground half way into your back swing, your right wrist will be fully set or cocked, forming a 90 degree angle in the middle of your left arm and the shaft. Your power is now loaded and is carried to the top of the swing by the shoulder turn.

On the return back to the ball this loaded position of the club and wrist should be maintained as long as potential into the down swing. The later it can be held the more power is generated through impact.

A vital move that is vital to delay this loaded position and deliver a more excellent blow to the ball is to make sure that the hip turn to the left initiates the down swing, and not your shoulders.

A great tip is to feel the hands and left hip work together on the down swing.

When the hands have moved past hip height on their way down to the ball they begin rotating anti clockwise into the ball squaring up the club face.

The power being generated here is through rotation and un cocking the right wrist. The customary position of the arms crossing over halfway through impact can be seen in all good players.

I hope you understand how useful a good golf swing publish is and how to apply it to your swing.

10 easy Steps to a permissible Golf Setup routine

The setup is probably the simplest question to precise and scholar but it is also one of the most critical. Without a good setup that leads to proper posture you will plainly not have a very good chance of swinging the club correctly. I have outlined a 10 step arrival on the basics of a good setup routine. By applying this routine before you get ready to take a swing you will drastically growth your chances of development a solid swing.

Golf Club Left Handed Sets

1. Stand behind the ball and pick a twig of grass between the ball and your target. Approximately every professional golfer will do this step.

2. Align your club quadrilateral to the ball and facing your twig of grass, this will assure that your aiming straight for the target.

3. Set your body and feet position parallel to the target line. Set your toes at a 15 degree angle for your left foot and a 30 degree for your right foot. Never keep your right foot perpendicular to the line because it is to hard to turn the body during the back swing.

4. Lay the club first in your left hand and then lay your right hand on top. For more details on your grip refer to my report on the Basics of a proper Golf Grip.

5. Slightly bend your knees and lean forward, your arms should feel like they are dangling straight down. Your butt should be sticking out and the arch of your back straight.

6. Your weight should be balanced and on the inside of your thighs. Your weight should also be more on your toes and the balls of your feet then on your heels.

7. The grip end of the club shaft should be about 8-10" from your belt buckle.

8. Keep your chin off your chest but stay focused on the ball. Your left shoulder will need to come under your chin at the top of your swing.

9. Double check that your club head is still facing in the precise position and apply the proper grip pressure.

10.Next, take a limited waggle and you are ready to take your swing. Many professional golfers will take a limited waggle to loosen up and publish tension. Arnold Palmer was known for his waggle before each shot.

On a final note I want to talk about ball position and width of your stance which are variables based on which club your using. This is because the length of the shafts are different. For a driver your feet should be slightly wider than your shoulders. Then slightly narrow your stance as the clubs get shorter. As far as ball position is concerned, the rule of thumb is that your hitting zone will be from your left heel to the middle of your stance. The longer the club then it will be more towards your left heel or send in your stance and the opposite for your shorter clubs.

Keep practicing this routine until it becomes second nature. When your watching the pro's on Tv you will see each and everyone of them go straight through a setup routine. Initial swing basics are really needful and a proper setup routine is the first step to a solid golf swing.

The Golf Swing - My Seven Step Checklist - Step 1 - The Grip

In this writing I will discuss The Grip, which is Step 1 of my seven step checklist for the golf swing. After years of reading, practicing and experimenting with distinct methods and techniques to put in order for the golf swing I have broken it down simply to seven steps that work for me. Since I am not a expert golf educator and I don't claim to be, I will only gift proven ideas and methodology that work for me. Every golfer is distinct and what works for one does not always work for person else. On the other hand there are basic principles and techniques that can be gainfully utilized by 95% of golfers and I strongly feel that the steps I am presenting here will work for a majority of those reading this article. I have taken over thirty years of feel and assimilation of the strict golf swing to gift this data to you. The seven steps in my swing checklist are 1- The Grip, 2 - The Set Up, 3 - The Waggle, 4 - The Backswing, 5 - Tempo, 6 - The Downswing, & 7 - The corollary Thru. I settled Tempo in the middle beacuse it is an integral part of the entire swing from start to stop and will be elaborated on in a time to come writing.

Golf Club Left Handed Sets

As stated previously, when I first learned to play golf, it required a lot of experimenting and reading golf books and magazines in order to legitimately get a feel for the strict golf swing for me. The grip is a very important and integral part of the golf swing. There are a estimate of distinct types of grip methods. There is the Vardon Grip ( named after the great Harry Vardon one of the premier golfers of the early 20th century ) The Baseball Grip, also appropriately named because the grip is similar to one you may use to hold a baseball bat, and my personal favorite, The Interlocking Grip, which incorporates the interlocking of the two hands together to form the grip. Note: Many of the instructional books, Dvd's and Videos will illustrate these grips if you would like to see them in a visual presentation. If you are sports oriented and have never read or viewed any instructional data about the grip then you may have a tendency to use and feel more comfortable with the baseball grip as I did initially.

Although it felt more comfortable I wasn't satisfied with the results. One day I was playing in a group with a considerably good player, probably a two to four handicap. I took note to some of his swing techniques and one of the things I noted was his golf grip. As we were waiting on one hole I asked him about it. He showed me how to do it and I have not changed my grip since. The steps I now use in setting my golf club grip are as follows: 1- I set or cradle the club in the creased part of the fingers of my left hand allowing the top of the club to protrude almost 1" to 1 1/2" past the lowest part of the same hand which will legitimately be facing upward and toward your waist and belt area when you set the club to put in order to swing. Note: While gripping with the left hand make sure the clubface stays fulfilled, or close to perpindicular to your target line. Also for a fairly strong grip, which I would extremely recommend, make sure the first two or even three knuckles of your left hand are positioned facing up so you can see them when seeing down on your hand and club.

Then allow the thumb of the left hand to lay over the top of the grip on a diminutive angle to the right while keeping the thumb right and on top of the club. Note: There are varied ways to grip the club ( stronger and weaker grips ) to allow your swing to work the ball right or left but it is a more developed technique should not be attempted until your game has progressed to a obvious level. Next, set the club in the creased part of the fingers of the right hand and interlock the pinky of your right hand with the index finger of your left, thus the derivative of the name interlocking grip. The meaty part of the palm of your right hand, linked to the thumb, should be facing upward so you can also see it similar to the knuckles of the left. Note: You can experiment at the range with the adjustment of the impel of the grip that works best for you, (turn hands to right for a stronger grip and left for weaker ) Also, please note that the grip methodology noted above is for the right handed player and should be reversed for the left handed golfer. Someone else important thing to remember, which will also be addressed in Step 2 - The Set Up is - Do Not let your right shoulder come transmit when taking the grip with the right hand. It should remain back and aligned with your left shoulder. It should also be slightly lower than your left since your right hand is set lower on the club when taking the grip.

A tip I would propose to help with your alignment to the target is to pick an intermediate target, that is in close proximity in front of you, ( it could ba a leaf , dandelion ,or discoloration in the grass, etc. ) that is also in line with the golf ball and target line to the intended landing area in the fairway or on the green and use that spot to line up your shot. The Vardon Grip is similar to the interlocking grip except for the fact that the right pinky finger is cradled in the middle of the surface part of the left hand index and middle finger and does not interlock at all. The baseball grip is basically the same as if you were keeping a bat in your hand and making ready to hit a baseball. It is probably the most comfortable, especially to the new golfer, but in my understanding the least efficient of the grip selections available. The interlocking or Vardon grips may feel more uncomfortable at first but once you get used to them you will be much happier with the correction they may promote in your game. This is the first part of my "Swing" checklist and an important one at that. When you are at the range or swinging in your yard take the time to work on your grip so it becomes second nature to you.

In closing, I would like to add one very important and so often overlooked part of the entire golf swing - "Relax" - do not let tension creep into any part of your golf swing. The club should be cradled slowly in your hands with about as much pressure as if you were keeping a babies hand or a small bird in your hand ( an analogy I think used by Sam Snead, one of the all time golfing greats ) and use the old expression to "Let the club do the work". You will be amazed at how swing speed and technique, together with a relaxed body and mind, yield so much greater results. Happy Golfing to All !

Guide To Buy Used Golf Clubs For Beginner Golfer

If you are just starting out to play golf, you should never buy a new golf club set immediately as you may recognize that this game is not for you later on. Furthermore, you are yet to find the type of golf clubs that fits you during the studying stage. The good option is to start with cheap used golf clubs. And here are some guidelines to help you to hunt down your first used golf club set:

Golf Club Left Handed Sets

Golf Rental Clubs

First, you may want to play with the rental clubs at a driving range. during this time, don't be afraid to ask your friends or other golfers to try their clubs on the range. This is a good chance for you to judge which type of clubs is right for you. After hitting for a duration of time at the driving range and you think it is time to buy your own clubs, then ....

Rely on golf expert

When you go out to buy used golf clubs, you should all the time rely on population who know golf tool well. You can look for your local pro at your local municipal policy as a source of information and advice. Or you can consult the experts at the golf shop or even your friend who plays well or who knows anyone about golf clubs. Alternatively, you can hunt the Internet for used golf club reviews. You can all the time ask population for advice but keep in mind that what suits them may not vital prove good in your hands. Therefore, it is more foremost to recognize the golf club set that convenient to your potential yourself.

Golf beginner's half set

As a novice golfer, you are advised to learn with a half set of clubs with all matching iron of the same model. The half-set could be made up from a few combinations of clubs. In general, the half set aggregate consists of five iron clubs, including 4, 6, 8, pitching wedge and sand iron, in addition to 3 and 5 woods plus a putter. The driver is not recommended in the beginner's half set because it is the hardest club to control. Majority of beginners would accomplish better results using a 3 wood on the tee box. Likewise, 1, 2 or 3 irons should be avoided at the early stages of the game, as each of these long irons requires an spoton attack from the middle of the clubface with abundance of club heads speed in order to accomplish good results. In contrast, a 5 wood with distance approximately equivalent of the 2 iron - the ball can still tour a fair distance despite being hit off-center. Besides, a lofted wood is more forgiving than the thin blade of an iron club heads.

The half set aggregate not only sufficient for most novice golfers on the golf policy for every situation but also makes club option much easier. It is a good aggregate of clubs to help the novice to heighten their swing technique until they are good sufficient before they improve to the full set golf clubs. Therefore, you have to make sure to plump a golf model for your half set from a reputable maker that can be added to at a later stage.

Golf Feels

The best way to buy a used golf clubs is to actually hold them in your hand and swing them to get a feel for what you want. The feel of a golf club clearly seems to be all-important. But, what is 'feel'? There is no scientific formula that defines it. In general, feel can be described as the way a golfer feels a club when he or she swings it depends on its swing weight and the flexibility of its shaft.

Iron Club head

Look for club head that made of stainless steel and avoid reasonable alloy heads. For beginner, you should plump the 'heel-and-toe' (or, perimeter-weighted) club head design, cavity backed (hollowed out in the back) and over-sized golf club. You should get bigger club heads because they are more forgiving with enlarges 'sweet spot' that can produce maximum distance even with off-center contacts.

Golf Shafts

Graphite shafts is ideal for beginner even though it is more high-priced that steel shafts. Its lighter ample weight allows beginner to swing the club faster even with enlarged clubhead.

Golf Grips

If you have purchased used golf clubs where the health of the grips could be less than perfect or the grips don't fit properly for you, then make sure you replace them. Grips are fairly easy and reasonable to change by a pro or club repairman. Ensure all the grips are substituted with same size and design.

Finally, if you are just starting out with golf, chances are your swing is more likely to let you down rather than the golf clubs itself. Having said that, it is still foremost to try out the golf clubs before buying them in order to find a golf club set that suits your swing, body and game. Most importantly, makes you feel positive when you use it.

How to Draw the Golf Ball

The draw shot off the tee is a very desirable ball flight to have. It penetrates the wind much great than a fade and rolls out farther in the fairway after it comes down. It can be a tough shot to control though. The draw can turn into a hook very easily. Most courses favor citizen who slice the ball, since that is the most common swing fault of the midpoint player. That means that most courses are more open to the right and much more penalizing when you hit it left.

Golf Club Left Handed Sets

The draw shot produces top spin on the ball. It is a right to left ball flight for right-handed citizen and a left to right ball flight for left-handed people.

The following instructions are for a right-handed player.

Line up the face of the club with your target. Line up your feet, hips and shoulders to the right of your target. This closes the face of the club in relation to your body. Now just swing like you usually would. The ended clubface will cause the ball to move right to left. Since you set your body up to the right, the ball will start to the right and turn back towards the target.

There are other ways to create a draw. Basically you want your club to take an inside to outside path in relation to the ball. I believe this way to be the easiest since you can take your general swing once you have adjusted your stance. Trying to adjust your swing can be much more difficult.

I would like to offer a word of advice. Be sure to try this technique out at the range a few times before using it on the course. If you over do it, a nasty hook could be the result, which will most likely put you in the water or the woods. We are trying to avoid penalty strokes, not create them right?

So there you go. With a minuscule practice, you will be curving the ball around that dogleg in no time. Oh, one other thing. Golf is a game so remember to Have Fun!

Golf Club Left Handed Sets

Golf Swing Speed Exercises!

1. Kettlebell Swings: If you are going to heighten your golf driver swing speed then you have got to learn how to tame the iron kettlebell swing first! Before you swing to hit the big booming drives on the golf procedure you have got to swing the antique kettlebell! This is a tremendously dynamic compel lift designed to strengthen your big core muscles and promote mobility at the same time.

In order to pull this off you have got to have the availability of a particular bell of moderate resistance first. Now the key to your success with this lift is production sure that your technique is sound and that you are getting the most out of the lift itself. To begin the lift plainly stand with your feet at about shoulder width distance apart in length. From here squat and pick the bell up allowing it to hang at your groin. Next, you are going to start swinging the kettlebell back and forth in an arc like appeal by constantly and smoothly flexing and extending at both your hips and knees. As you do this allow the bell to build momentum and forcefully breathe as you swing the bell up from between your legs. Make sure to keep your abs tight with every forceful repetition. You should keep your shoulders retracted and make sure to lock out at both your hips and knees at the top of the arc. Institution literal, form before trying to strengthen to a heavier bell or set of bells. Your golf swing speed just got an upgrade!

2. The Kettlebell Get Up: In order for you to have a fast golf swing you have got to work on the development of your core, hips, glutes, and shoulders. Along with hitting these muscle groups you have got to be able to train them to be mobile in the process of being strong. This is why I want to introduce to you the particular arm kettlebell get up or turkish get up.

The particular arm kettlebell get up is a very dynamic and fluent lift when it is properly executed. This rehearsal is done by you lying on the ground on your back with the kettlebell above your head and standing up to your feet and then returning to the ground. This sounds straightforward enough, but trust me it is challenging.

To execute this lift you will start out on your back with the bell raised above your head and your arm at a perpendicular angle to the floor. Your arm will stay at this angle throughout the entire lift. For the sake of this article lets assume you are executing the lift with your right arm. Lying on the ground at this point with the right arm raised with bell in hand make sure that your right knee is bent and that your right foot is flat on the ground just outside of your hip. From here plainly start to tighten your abs and begin rolling onto your left side distributing and supporting your body weight on your left elbow. Keep your eyes on the bell above your head the entire time. Next, plainly move again to transition your weight from your left elbow onto your left hand and lock your shoulder into place.

Now once you have gotten into this position plainly use your right leg to help move and shift your body weight into place. At this point you are ready to stand up. You can "get up" by supporting your weight on your knee or by plainly standing up with both feet planted from a squat position. Whether way is your choice, but just make sure that you are comfortable and balanced in doing so. Once you have stood up to your feet then just make sure to reverse the entire process to return to the original lying position. Your golf swing muscles are now getting a serious tune up!

If you haven't already started to implement these 2 substantial golf compel exercises into your general training routine then you are missing out. Take the time to learn more by accessing more of my articles on the subject for free. Remember that most any golfer can train hard, but only the champions train smart!

Golf Essentials estimate 1 - holding Your Dominant Eye on the Ball

I took a golf lesson the other day with Jane Frost, a great golf instructor, named by Golf Magazine as one of the top 100 Golf Teachers and top 50 in Golf for Women. Before starting the lesson we talked about my game, how often I played, etc. And then she asked me what turned out to be the most necessary request I've ever been asked since learning the game: Which of my eyes (right or left) is my dominant eye?

Golf Club Left Handed Sets

Some years ago I was told to set up my golf swing by focusing my left eye on the back of the golf ball. This caused my head to slightly tilt to the left and shifted my balance just a microscopic to the right. I've been following this guidance and all the time found it a microscopic confusing. I just couldn't focus well. Well, duh!?! No wonder I've been having problem all this time. After a very quick test, we discovered I am right eye dominant! I've been working against myself for years! As a "right eye dominant player" I should be focusing on the front of the golf ball with my right eye, not the back of the golf ball with my left eye.

It felt totally awkward at first and I had to keep reminding myself to use my right eye to focus. But after just a few minutes, all started to just "click!" I was hitting the ball much more solidly and sending it long and straight. That nasty slice I was all the time battling was gone!

One straightforward improvement and my game has improved!

I asked Jane how it was that so many instructors skip this leading issue, or don't test students for their dominant eye. Her explanation: some years ago Jack Nicolas wrote a book, "Golf, My Way," in which he explained how he used his left eye to focus on the back of the ball while his set up. He made it very clear that this was his own way of doing things and it was not necessarily good for everyone. But his instructions were taken by many as gospel, and his set up is used by many golfers whether it fits them or not.

My guidance to you: inspect which of your eyes is dominant. This is an often overlooked but one of the most leading discoveries for any person or athlete who is participating in any sport that requires physical movement to impel an object accurately to a target or position on a field. There is a a straightforward test you can use to resolve which of your eyes is dominant. Have a friend stand opposite you. Place your hands at eye level with the two palms facing away, and overlap the thumbs and first fingers of each hand to generate a triangle straight through which you can look. Now look at your friend and have he or she tell you which of your eyes they can see straight through the triangle formed by your hands. You will have plainly chosen to use your dominant eye in order to see your friend. Once you know which of your eyes is dominant, use that information to your benefit in the game of golf.

May all your drives go right and true.

Stop Hooking the Golf Ball at once With These 3 Tips

To some golfers the slice is the biggest obstacle to playing golf, but for thousands of other golfers it is the dreaded hook. Hooking the golf ball is something that can be so frustrating that it practically caused the great Ben Hogan to quit the game before he over won a major championship. Now, after Hogan fixed his hook he went on to win 9 major championships, and here is how you can fix your hook to improve your scores.

Golf Club Left Handed Sets

1.The good news is that a hook is typically easier to fix than a slice. The most prominent thing about having your ball dive into the left hand rough is to understand why. The ball hooks because of inordinate right to left spin, and this also puts some overspin on the ball causing it to crash into the ground.

2. To stop hooking the golf ball the first thing you need to do is open your stance. This means for a right handed golfer having your left foot about an inch further back than your right. This will enable you to swing more across your body which will counteract the right to left spin that you have been putting on the ball. This should help straighten out your shots by reducing spin.

3. Someone else cause of the dreaded hook is due to an excessively strong grip. This means that your left hand is on top of the club too much, and your right hand is under the club too much. To correct this, grip the club with your left hand first and make sure that only two knuckles are showing. On your right hand you want to be more wrapped nearby the club, and this will promote a square club face at impact and sacrifice your hook.

These three tips should help you to stop hooking the ball, and then you can learn to hit a exiguous draw or fade and play the best golf of your life!

The excellent Golf Grip

A good golf grip can help in controlling the shape of your shots. If you are new to golf and have had no lessons etc., then you are probably holding the club wrong!

Golf Club Left Handed Sets

Below is an explanation of the grip types and there uses and values.

There are basically three grip positions.

A weak grip is one where the left hand is dominant and is added on top of the club (more left hand knuckles visible). This grip makes it difficult to close the club face at impact and normally results in a slice. This is the most common mistake made by beginners and the easiest to rectify. This can also be a beneficial tool when you want to fade the ball from left to right (right hander).

A neutral grip is one where the hands are evenly split by the shaft, you can see the same whole of knuckles on both hands. This is probably the A1 position but difficult to declare and everybody has a natural fade/draw even Tiger!

A strong grip has the right hand more dominant. If you are slicing the ball a lot, try spirited your right hand more on top of the grip so you can see more knuckles of the right hand. This will allow the club face to be more closed on impact. This may cause problems if you hit the the ball exquisite and you end up with a hook. This grip is usefull so as with the precise body position you can draw the ball from right to left ( right handed )

Golf grip types, there are no set pattern of how to hold the club but If you have medium to large hands the baseball grip or the overlapping grip will probably be more comfortable. If you have smaller hands, the interlocking grip will allow you best control and feel. When first swinging a club find which one is more comfortable and works for you as you are the one who has to play for 4 -5 hours with it and the last thing you want is blistered and sore hands.

The whole of grip you place on the club is very important and shouldn't be taken lightly. You don't need a death grip. Your hands should be relaxed so that they can turn naturally after impact, think of holding a small bird in your hands. You wouldn't want to grip to tight in case you hurt it, just adequate to stop it from flying away. This way your hands can result through naturally and not be stiff and force the club at the wrong angle.

The only time you need to convert this arrival is when trying to fly from the long deep rough, here you will need to grip the club tighter so as not to let the club turn in the long grass.

So now go out and practice practice practice, this is the only way to get better, check your grip before every shot as I certify that you will almost easily have the wrong grip every time unless you check!!

Play a Draw With the Driver

Learning to play a variety of shots in golf is a great advantage. One of the best shots to learn is a draw and a big benefit on any hole is hitting good drive. So if you can play a draw with a drive you have a great advantage.

Golf Club Left Handed Sets

In this narrative I am going to communicate how to play a draw and why it gives you an advantage.

To play a draw you need to have an inside-out swing and a quadrate club-face through impact. For me one of the easiest clubs to do it with is the driver.

Am inside-out golf swing sounds easy adequate but so many players struggle to get it right. From my taste this is from trying to hit the ball too hard by swing with the arms. It is far easier to control the swing path if you simply let your body rotate and keep the association in the middle of your arms and torso intact.

Firstly the "how" to play a draw with the driver.

Here are a combine of things that should help:

Place the ball on the inside of your target foot toe - that is the left foot for a right-handed golfer.
Ensure that the club face is quadrate to the target at this point. To do this fantasize two parallel lines - one running along your toe line and the other from the ball to the target. Set you club face quadrate to the ball to target line.
Now move your non-target (back) foot two inches back. Creating a slightly closed stance but holding that club-face quadrate to the imaginary line.
Cock your head so that it is behind the ball and not directly over it.
Move your hands back so that the shaft is in line with your spine and your hands are not ahead of the ball as would be the case with your irons. This is to get you to assault the ball on the spoton commence angle which, with the driver, is on the up. This diminutive hand movement should mean you have to drop your non target shoulder slightly. This is perfect.
Start your backswing by turning your target shoulder away from the target concentrating on holding the association in the middle of your arms and torso the same throughout the swing.
Take the club back along your toe line. Remember that you have moved the non-target foot back slightly so it should be a diminutive inside take away.
Start your down-swing by turning your hips back towards the target until your belt buckle is facing directly to the target.
Keep the club on the toe line on the down-swing and consequent through making sure that you finish with high hands.

If you do all things correctly you will have a nice draw.

Now for the "benefits" of playing a draw with the driver.

First and important is distance. The inside-out swing (going over the ball) with the quadrate club face creates top-spin and top-spin creates roll which will give you more distance. That's what we want with a driver - maximum distance. The closer you can get to the green the shorter your coming shot will be. Unless you are very dissimilar (I nearly said a freak!) playing a 9 iron is far easier and more spoton than playing a 5 iron.
Secondly is you have a bigger target if you can hit a particular shot such as a draw with the drive. Knowing the ball will curve from right to left (again for the right-handed golfer) means you can safely aim for the right hand side of the fairway. You have the whole width of the fairway - left of where you are aiming - as a landing area. Aiming for the middle would mean you only have the left half of the fairway to play with. I hope that makes sense!

So there you have how and why you should play a draw with a drive whenever possible. Sometimes though you will get holes that are not set up for the draw which is why you should learn to play a variety of shots.

Replacing Your Golf Grips

It's nothing else but easy to change your grips. The hardest part is manufacture sure the grip size is right for your hands. There are dissimilar diameters of grips to suit dissimilar hand sizes as well as for people who have arthritis. Assuming you're right handed and you put your left hand on the grip; your last 3 fingers should wrap colse to the grip and just slightly touch your palm or have a microscopic gap. If there is a large gap the grip is too big. If your fingers press into your palm then the grip is too small. You can make a grip that is a microscopic too small bigger by adding a merge extra layers of grip tape colse to the club shaft.

Golf Club Left Handed Sets

Step 1- This isn't mandatory but it makes the job easier if you have one. Hold the golf shaft in a vise. There are rubber shaft holders that go colse to the shaft before you place it in the vice so that it doesn't damage the shaft. I've also changed grips without the vice and it's not very difficult so don't worry if you don't have one.

Step 2- remove the old grip

A sharp utility knife works great to cut the old grip down the length of the shaft. If you have graphite shafts, avoid cutting or marking the shaft.

Step 3- Clean the tape and adhesive off of the shaft.

A razor blade and/or just using solvent works well for this. I personally use mostly just the solvent because my shafts are graphite and I don't want to scrape the shafts with a sharp blade. A good solvent that I use is paint thinner. If your shafts are steel, then a razor blade works great to remove the tape and then remove any remaining adhesive with the solvent.

Step 4- Place grip tape on the shaft.

Grip tape has adhesive on both sides. Duplicate sided adhesive tape comes in narrow widths and wide widths. Depending on which tape you get determines the easiest way to place the tape on the shaft. The narrower tape may require you to wrap the tape in a spiral circular appeal down the shaft. Try to get it spaced evenly so that it doesn't overlap or leave big gaps. If you get the wider tape, you can just place a long strip down the shaft a microscopic longer than the length of the grip, and remove the backing and wrap it colse to the shaft. Place the grip tape on the shaft so that there is an extra ¼" of tape or so extending out beyond the butt end of the shaft. Squeeze that tape together and push it into the end of the golf shaft to seal the end of the golf shaft and prevent anything from getting into the golf shaft. Once the grip has been slid onto the shaft, any tape that protrudes beyond the grip can be nothing else but trimmed with a razor blade or you can portion how far the grip extends down the shaft in strengthen and put a mark on the shaft and trim the tape a microscopic shorter than the length of the grip before you put the grip on. As mentioned earlier regarding the diameter of the grip, if you need a microscopic wider grip, you can put an extra wrap or two of tape on the shaft to strengthen the diameter of the grip.

Step 5- Slide the grip on the shaft.

While outside the microscopic hole in the end of the grip with a finger, put adequate grip solvent into the grip so that it can coat all the inside walls of the grip. Put adequate in so that while now outside the holes of the grip at both ends with your fingers that you can shake the grip and feel the solvent slosh colse to in the grip. Determined dump/pour any excess solvent that is in the grip out over the whole outside of the grip tape on your golf club shaft. Now both the inside of the grip and the outside outside of the grip tape should be coated with solvent.

Note: the grip solvent prevents the grip tape adhesive from setting up for a short period of time, so you will only have maybe 10 seconds or so to get the grip on and get it aligned before the adhesive sets and the grip cannot be moved any longer.

Now slide the grip onto the shaft. If your grip has grip alignment marks for your hands on the grip or a grip reminder ridge that runs down the backside of the grip, try to make sure the grip goes on as level as inherent in the first place so that you don't have to twist the grip much once its on the shaft to get it aligned correctly. If you have a shaft vice, aligning the grip will be a microscopic easier at this point any way it's not very hard to align the grip without the vice. Retention the golf club in front of you with the clubface perfectly vertical pointing upward, places the topside of the golfshaft on top. Line up the alignment marks for the top of the grip down the town of the shaft.

Let the grips cure overnight before using them.

Taylor Made Hybrid Golf Clubs

The Taylor Made Hybrid Golf Clubs line is extensive. The enterprise offers five dissimilar club solutions in their saving line of hybrids. The dissimilar models target dissimilar levels of golfers and their tendencies. This record will discuss the 5 models of Taylor Made Hybrid Golf Clubs. For those not aware, hybrids are designed to replace hard to hit long irons. A 3 hybrid, for example, should replace your 3 iron.

Golf Club Left Handed Sets

The Burner Rescue

This model is made for golfers with driver swing speeds of in the middle of 70 and 105 Mph. The Burner has a relatively large head which enables more perimeter weighting and a town of gravity (Cg) a bit lower and farther back than some other models. This translates into both a forgiving club face and shots launched at a high trajectory. In other words the club is easy to hit. another feature is what is called "Steel Pull-Face" construction which results in a club face with a high Cor (coefficient of restitution- it means the club has a spring-like effect), and this translates into more distance. As with all the Taylor Made hybrids, there are choices of stock graphite and steel shafts, and some other convention shaft choices are ready as well. There are 4 clubs ready in this model: 3, 4, 5, and 6 hybrids, and they come in both women's and left handed versions (except the 6 hybrid for lefties). In general this set would fit below average, average, and some above average players.

The saving Tp

This model is designed for more industrialized players with higher driver swing speeds, that is from 90-115 Mph, which is getting up to expert levels on the high end. The face is shallow and smaller than the Burner, as more skilled players don't need such a forgiving club. The activate angle is lower and the club doesn't produce as much backspin. These are all attributes of clubs used by low handicap players who are able to hit solid and consistent shots with long clubs. The four clubs ready in the series are 1, 2, 3, and 4 hybrids, so clearly these are made for more industrialized players. All but the 4 hybrid are ready for left handed players. There is not a women's club in this line, as very few women have swing speeds in this range. Once again, a whole of dissimilar steel and graphite shafts can be chosen for saving Tp hybrids.

The saving Dual Hybrid

This line of hybrids offers Taylor Made's "Movable Weight Technology(Tm)". Weights can be moved on the club which will follow in more of a draw bias, so this will be helpful for players who have a tendency to hit a slice. The weight shift can also modify the ball trajectory. More industrialized players don't need or want a high activate angle, as they hit the ball hard and it will get high sufficient into the air. The club head is relatively small, but the club still offers a moderate whole of forgiveness. This line of clubs is recommended for golfers with driver swings in the middle of 55 and 105 Mph, which is a wide range. Basically this says that below average players and even some above average players could benefit from these clubs. It's a quiz, of whether the movable weights will be of help for your particular swing. Once again, 4 clubs are ready for right handed players, a 2, 3, 4, and 5 hybrid. Only the 3 and 4 hybrids come in left-handed versions, and there are no ladies clubs in this line.

The saving Dual Tp Hybrids

These clubs are for skilled players with driver swing speeds over 105 Mph. The movable weight system is in this line as well. The Cg is slightly higher than in the saving Dual, and thus the ball flight is lower and more piercing. Strong players prefer this type of ball flight since they can control the ball better. Tour level shafts are used in this model, and 4 choices of clubs are available. There are two choices of a 2 hybrid, one with a 14 degree loft and the other with 16 degrees of loft. 3 and 4 hybrids are also available. The 14 degree 2 hybrid and 4 hybrid are not made in left-handed versions.

The r7 Draw Rescue

This line of hybrids can be used by players needing a club that can be hit de facto and gets into the air speedily at a high activate angle. The club is also designed to produce a hook bias to aid golfers who regularly slice the ball and to help them hit straighter shots. The specs say that whatever with driver swing speeds from 55-105 Mph can use these clubs effectively. The club head is large, and this allows for a Cg that is well back from the club face. This also allows for more perimeter weighting foremost to a club that is forgiving of off-center hits. There are 3, 4, 5, and 6 hybrids available, except for the 6 hybrid for lefties. Women's clubs are available. The clubs are designed for use with lighter shafts to make more club head speed for those who need all the distance they can get. This is another line for below average, average, and some above average golfers. The main issue is to address a revision for a constant slice that many golfers have. It differs from the saving Dual line in that it does not have the movable weight system.

It is clear that making a option of which hybrids to put in your bag is a confusing one as there are so many choices. And here we have only been discussing the offerings of Taylor Made Hybrid golf clubs. Obviously all the golf equipment brands have their own lines as well. If you are going to pay 0- 5 or so for each of these clubs, it would behoove you to have a convention fitting with a knowledgeable professional, preferably a certified convention club maker, before making your purchases. That person can help guide you into clubs you can use effectively and get the most out of. If you don't do this, you might be not only wasting your money, but paying a high price to play poorly.

A Guide For Good Golf Grips

A excellent golf swing, a excellent golf stance, and a superb hit will not be possible if a golfer cannot create good golf grips. All things about playing the golf starts with how you can grip your golf club. Perceive that the way you hold the golf club directly affects the flight and direction of your golf ball. As such, prior to paying much attentiveness on how you swing the club or pose for a swing, make sure that you know how to get a good grip of your golf club first.

Golf Club Left Handed Sets
